The Model AF-GI Floor Grilles has been independently tested to the performance specification : MOB PF2 PS 1992 "platform floors (Raised Access Floors ) performance specification." By TUV SUD PSB. Singapore and the ASHRAE 70-2006 Standard "Method of Testing for Rating the Performance of Air Outlets and Inlets" which incorporates ADC 1062 : GRD-84 Test Code for Grilles, Registers and Diffusers by Intertek, U.S.A (A Testing Organizations recognized by H.K. Government ).
How To Select
When the AF-GI Floor Grille is used in an area with high heat loads, e.g. computer rooms, the grille should be located closed to the heat source but away from any wall or partition.
The recommended air volume per grille for a ceiling height of 3m is between 140 and 220 1/s. for higher ceilings the flow can be increased up to typically 300 Vs.
Test | Result |

Stability of Deflection (Centre of grille) : 4,5 kN static load through 25mm square indentor |
Deflection 23 hours after load applied - 3.48mm Deflection 24 hours after load applicd - 3.48mm Stability 0.00mm (MOB requirement Max. 0.02mm ) 2 hrs after load removed 0.04mm (MOB requirement Max. 0,75mm ) |
Impact load test : 40 kg Sand Bag from 1m height |

Throw is the perpendicular distance from grille face at which the velocity of the airstream has 0.5m/s.
SP is the static pressure loss
Use interpolator to determinate the performance of grille size not on the list.
